A Class for Mothers: "From Pregnancy to Milk Supply"

Foods and Supplements that support glandular development, prepare the body for childbirth, and initiate a “smooth” start to milk production.

Deep Hydration and Milk Supply - the missing piece to the puzzle

Understand “deep hydration” with lactogenic ingredients, for better hormonal balance, cellular function, and milk production.

The Quest for the Ultimate Galactagogue

Western Medicine is unable to come to terms with the causes of and remedies for low milk supply. Starting in the mid-1800s, doctors and researchers went on a historic quest to find an “ultimate galactagogue” one that works for women. Not finding one, they abandoned their research into women’s use of plants and foods to support milk supply, and the commercial formula industry became big business. We can trace their footsteps, their successes and failures. What did they discover along the way that is useful for us now?

Forgotten Geniuses in Lactation History

Three doctors researched the causes of milk supply problems in the 1800s and early 1900s. Their findings — which would have transformed public health strategies, should they have been followed through on — were ignored, neglected, ridiculed, and suppressed. We can still listen to the wisdom of these doctors and learn about their in-depth research, conducted in a time when doctors were still closely connected to their patients and could learn through observation.
